Through the struggles to become an advocate of her own personal life, the founder Cassandra has seen the importance of beauty as a whole, from internally to externally and believes we can make a difference in how people feel by using our products and receiving our services. As former Mrs. Maine 2012 & Mrs. American World 2019, she is not only an advocate of the journey of her life, but is also a voice speaking to others for change, inspiring others into their own personal advocacy. Amor Provencher, LLC believes that beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself. She says balance of life for her has been key.
As a young child, Cassandra continued to experiment with many products to doing her own hair and not until she was on her way to college to University of New England to study Physical Therapy did she pull back and realize that going to beauty school was her passion. Licensed in the industry since 2003, Cassandra today has not only helped her husband with office work for Provencher Drywall & Construction, LLC, she has successfully owned and operated her salon since September 11, 2015 prior to many stops at the career center to SBDC, to SCORE, New Ventures of Maine, Maine Entrepreneurs. With a ton of support and love from many who wanted to help Cassandra succeed with her mission in holistic wellness. Since 2017 Cassandra has worked towards launching Amor Provencher Beauty Products, LLC with many steps before on how she could bring more awareness through her voice and personal struggles through the journey of her own life with her passion in the beauty industry as she continues research and development and mission for holistic wellness.
Cassandra says, “years of counseling since the age of 18 until her privacy was violated shortly after identity theft and misdiagnosed by medical professionals she decided to not continue seeing, she decided she needed to take her advocacy to helping others more behind the chair through the art she creates with her hands and consultations she can focus on helping others with selfcare within her professional license. Her ongoing education through York County Community college in Small Business Management she hopes to continue her voice within her mission in the company's research and development for greater growth and development she can bring to the community right in Maine where she was born and raised. Her life experiences have allowed her to hear herself and to see light at the end of a tunnel knowing everyone's story matters and how hers can inspire others. Understanding herself and taking care of herself holistically has allowed personal growth and healing and to find the confidence to remind herself to continue to always be yourself and learn more about your genetics and allergies as holistic wellness is also connected under code 44 to Medical and agriculture. Life truly is a journey not a destination.! Today giving back and making a difference through the passion and love of who she is today and all that so many not only did for herself but there family. She truly wants to thank everyone who has touched their lives! Today to give greater advocacy of hers and her families own personal struggles within how identity theft led to mental health and misdiagnosed and drugged in a hospital when already she was on a mission to her own holistic wellness approach in life knowing how her liver genetic was connected to PMDD. She was misdiagnosed and forced into taking a medicine when she was in a hospital for the first time for mental health and was ab not able to leave the hospital until on the highest dose the doctor wanted her to take. Today she brings greater awareness to mental health and how holistic wellness approach in the beauty industry can really touch lives in the services they provide to others self-care and connects to medical and agriculture. She advocates within her own story how the foods she consumed and the medical concerns she faced within her own genetics and allergies plays a lot into our self-care in the beauty industry. Cassandra later learned through the United States Patent and Trade that holistic wellness was under the code 44 connecting medical, beauty and agriculture under holistic wellness and wants to bring her story to others for awareness. Cassandra has also learned in 2024 that in the State of Maine that there is a new endorsement 911 in which you can take further education to become a teacher in cosmetology through the department of education when filling out an application and working toward becoming a teacher within the state of Maines process, in which can help the industry of beauty in Maine with greater Job development opportunities in years to come for licensed professionals. Cassandra also advocates to how associations for genetics we may have also within jobs we may do that there is greater work others are doing to create greater in our communities as she believes our lives are filled with opportunities if we stay positive and never stop learning and advocating through our stories.
Experiencing modeling at 18 years old, to her adult years raising kids, she says allowed her to grow with more confidence in herself, and to continue to be herself. “Every experience we have allows us to learn so much more and there’s never time wasted as everything teaches us something if we allow it to,” she says.
“We believe beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself! Living as holistic as possible through our journey of life as it’s never a destination and to always be a voice within your own story to advocacy as everyone's story is important. She believes to always keep our five senses of the human body in mind- sight, hear, smell, taste and touch."
Through her own personal journey of her health since a child to being diagnosed with allergies to foods as well as intolerances, her thyroid, diagnosed with Gilbert Syndrome, a genetics gene found through routine blood work where she heard only 30 % are diagnosed and connects to PMMD in which can be MISDIAGNOSED with other mental health such as bipolar, she learned about what she could eat more so with foods also understanding that many factors play a role into our skin, hair, etc. which to her was a balance of diet, environment, stress, health, chemicals (look for labels of Non GMO and Organic and knowing the science of her own nutrition she could consume to vitamins levels in her body, process of hair services to touch scalp less and what techniques were being used as our skin is our largest organ and how color services and sometimes keeping off the scalp is important for some with certain genetics etc. , water, air, what you use for drying hair, products, etc. “To be able to get off her thyroid medicine she felt so much better really balancing out what she took in for food, as well as what was going on to her body and breathing it in was just as important. The skin is our largest organ.” Understanding herself to finding balance within living a healthier life. “How I feel has been important so I can be a great mother, wife, woman and person. Taking care of myself has allowed me to understand my feelings and connect better with others. Everyone has a story, and we all have feelings and everyones are important." She believes a story can help bring more awareness to real life. Being a voice at the same time to others has allowed her to try and make a difference. "If I am facing it, I believed through my struggles I could voice and make a difference through awareness for someone else who may be facing similar situations. To me life sure is a journey not a destination. My story is not the only story. Everyone has one and to me there all important! "Engaging the community as everyone has feelings that matter. Everyone does have a voice." She believes "WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.” Working with many businesses it is like a marriage. You have to have trust, within ethics and integrity and strong values, etc.
